Erratic driver was under the influence of drugs and had offensive weapon

A motorist seen driving erratically on Chester Road, Walton, Warrington, earlier today was discovered to be under the influence of drugs.

The male was stopped by police on Chester Road, Walton this morning after being observed driving erratically.

He was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis.

During a search of his vehicle, he was also found to be in possession of an offensive weapon.
