Waste bin believed to have been deliberately set on fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called out yesterday afternoon to deal with a suspected arson incident involving a bin near Warrington town centre.

Shortly after 3pm One fire engine from Warrington was called out following reports of a waste bin fire on Church Street, Warrington.

Deliberate ignition was suspected as the cause of the fire. Firefighters used a hose reel jet to damp down the fire.

Police were informed as it is believed the fire was started deliberately.
