WARRINGTON Rylands 1906 manager Dave McNabb will be joined on stage by Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola at the 40th Northern Managers Awards Dinner, this Sunday, February 6.
The annual awards dinner in conjunction with title sponsors William Hill at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Manchester is to celebrate managers from northern clubs who won honours last season.
Dave is being recognised for guiding Warrington Rylands to glory in the FA Vase at Wembley, while Guardiola is being honoured for leading Manchester City to the Premier League title.
Dave modestly commented “This award is for everyone involved with the club, what we achieved last season was remarkable and it wouldn’t of been possible without the Committee, sponsors, my staff, players and of course the volunteers and fans”.
Other managers being honoured include Grant McCann (Hull City), Neil Critchley (Blackpool), Lee Johnson (Sunderland), Ian Evatt (Bolton Wanderers), Derek Adams (Morecambe now Bradford City) and Dave Challinor (Hartlepool United now Stockport County).
