AN opportunity to create bird, bug and bat boxes will come at The Pavilion, in Alexandra Park, Stockton Heath on Wednesday, February 23.
The event is being organised by Stockton Heath Parish Council, who will provide all the equipment necessary and also light refreshments.
All are welcome, but children under the age of 16, must be accompanied by an adult and because hammers, nail and screwdrivers will be used, very small children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The event is free and the parish council would like participants to leave their box so it can be put up at Ackers Pit and Mill Lane. A small, voluntary donation would be appreciated if boxes are taken home to be used in participants’ own gardens.
