Infection rates and inpatient numbers continue to fall in Warrington as 206 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

NO further COVID-19 related deaths have been reported in Warrington, with infection rates and hospital inpatient numbers continuing to fall in the town.

A total of 206 (240) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 59,651 (59,445).

Infection rates over a seven-day period have fallen again to 1,747 (1,856) – 834.3 (886.4) per 100,000 population which are now below the national average of 954.2 (949.2) per 100,000, which have risen again.

While no further deaths have been reported inpatient numbers have fallen again from 43 -39, including 1 in ICU, while another eight patients were discharged.
