POLICE investigating a burglary when a property at Padgate, Warrington, was ransacked following a forced entry, are appealing for information from members of the public.

A quantity of jewellery and laptops were stolen after offender/s forced their way into the property on Bruche Drive.

The burglary occurred between 7pm and 9.10pm on Wednesday, January 19, while the house was unoccupied.

Enquiries are ongoing and officers are appealing for information, CCTV or dashcam footage from the public.

PC Neil Mooney, from Warrington local policing unit, said: “Our enquiries have established that glass was smashed from the back door to access the house. The bedroom and living room were ransacked and items stolen.
