FIRE crews were called out last night to tackle a suspected arson attack on a bin at Great Sankey and a fire in the open at business premises on Hawleys Lane involving a brazier.
Shortly after 7.30 pm firefighters from Penketh attended Boston Boulevard in Great Sankey, Warrington, following a report of an outside fire.
On arrival, the crew discovered that it was a small bin fire.
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to put out the fire and were in attendance for less than 10 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately.

Meanwhile at At around 7.40 pm firefighters from Warrington received a report of an outside fire in the Hawleys Lane area of Warrington.
On arrival, the crew discovered that the fire involved the steel drum of a brazier.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around five minutes.
