WARRINGTON Wolves has confirmed that Billy Magoulias has successfully undergone an operation on an ankle injury which will see him miss the start of the new Betfred Super League season.
The Greek international joined the club in October from Cronulla Sharks and sustained the injury in pre-season training.
Warrington Wolves Head Coach Daryl Powell said: “Billy unfortunately picked up a training ground injury which required an operation. This has now been completed successfully and he is working through his rehab.
“We expect him to miss the first four to five rounds of the season. Billy has fitted in really well and we look forward to getting him back on the field as soon as possible.”
Everyone at the club wishes Billy a speedy recovery and they look forward to seeing him run out in the primrose and blue in the near future.
