Residents warned to be vigilant following van thefts

RESIDENTS are being warned to be extra vigilant following recent van thefts in the Poplars & Hulme area of Warrington.

There have been reports of two van thefts in the past 5 days along Poplars Avenue.

These incidents have occurred late at night and early hours of the morning.

Local police are advising residents to consider using extra security on their vehicle to protect themselves from being a victim and also to be extra vigilant.

Anyone with information can contact police on 101 or 999 in an emergency.
