INFECTION rates have fallen for a fourth consecutive day in Warrington, with 363 new COVID-19 cases in the latest daily data.
A total of 365 (545) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 55,839 (55,474).
Infection rates over a seven-day period have fallen for a third consecutive day to 4,437 (4,542) – 2,118.9 (2,169.1) per 100,000 population but are still well above the national average of 1,700.9 (1,736.8) per 100,000, which have fallen again over a seven day period.
While no further deaths have been reported inpatient numbers have reduced slightly from 85-84 while a further 14 patients have been discharged.
