Survey of college life achieves fantastic results

WARRINGTON & Vale Royal College has received fantastic results after asking students to share their views about all aspects of college life.

In total, 2246 full-time students responded to the survey, representing an excellent 83% of the student population.

Some of the key results from the survey were:
97% of students felt welcome on their first day of college.
97% said they have received sufficient information, advice and guidance in relation to their course.
97% said the college promotes a culture of respect.
97% agree that their teachers know their subjects well.
96% rate the standard of teaching as good.
95% feel that staff have made their subject interesting.
95% believe they are developing employability skills.
94% said their teacher continuously challenges them to do their best.

College Principal Nichola Newton said: “The college is delighted with this brilliant feedback and pleased that students are enjoying their time at college despite the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.

“College staff have worked incredibly hard to help students get back to normality, and their efforts are evident in these impressive results.”
