Police step up patrols following arson incidents outside shops

POLICE have been carrying out patrols in the Appleton area of Warrington following reports of youths starting fires outside a row of shops in the area.

The arson incidents have been taking place outside a row of shops on Bridge Lane in Appleton, which have been a scene of ongoing incidents of anti-social behaviour.

Police are asking local residents to report anti-social behaviour via the online portal CLICK HERE or ringing 101 in a non-emergency. Always call 999 in an emergency.
