ANOTHER two COVID-19 related deaths have sadly been reported at Warrington Hospital, with infection rates continuing to rise in the town, with another 568 new cases.
The 568 (673) new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed by the UK Health Security Agency in the latest daily data, taking the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 47,920 (47,352).
Infection rates have risen again to 3,229 (3,083) – 1,542 (1,472.3) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period which are above the national average of 1,253.8 (1,216 ) per 100,000.
While another two patients have sadly died, inpatient numbers have risen again from 53-54, with six also discharged.
