COVID-19 infection rates start to rise again as 163 new cases confirmed

COVID-19 infection rates have started to rise again in Warrington with 163 new cases confirmed in the latest daily data.

The 163 (220) new cases reported by the UK Health Security Agency, takes the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 40,129 (39,966).

Infection rates in Warrington have risen after three days of falls to 1,101 (1,098) – 525.8 (524.4) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period which remains above the national average of 502.1 (498) per 100,000, which has risen again.
