Police seek help from public after car stolen from driveway

POLICE investigating a burglary in Birchwood, Warrington, are today appealing for members of the public to come forward.

The offender/s entered the property on Hamsterley Close via the back door while the occupant was asleep inside sometime between 9pm on Monday, November 29 and 8.44am on Tuesday November 30.

The lock was snapped and keys to a dark blue Audi were stolen and the car was then driven away from the driveway.
The offender/s have then driven away from the area in the stolen car which was parked on the driveway.
A number of enquiries have been ongoing in the area.

Officers are asking residents to check their CCTV or dashcam footage to see if it may assist with the investigation.

They are also asking anyone who may have seen people in the area acting suspiciously or have information to contact Cheshire Constabulary online quoting IML 1144679.
