Great Sankey woman and Orford man arrested as police carry out 30 arrests tackling domestic abuse

POLICE have arrested a total of 30 people, including a woman from Great Sankey and a man from Orford, since the launch of Operation Guardians, yesterday, tackling domestic abuse.

A 44-year-old woman from Great Sankey, Warrington has been arrested on suspicion of breaching a stalking order.
She remains in custody assisting police with enquiries.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man from Orford was arrested on suspicion of breaching a restraining order.
He has since been released on conditional bail.

They are among 30 people arrested across Cheshire as part of Operation Guardians.

Since the launch of Operation Guardians yesterday we have arrested 30 people forcewide for domestic abuse offences.
