COVID-19 infection rates rise marginally as 93 new cases confirmed

COVID-19 infection rates have risen marginally in Warrington over a seven-day period with 93 new cases confirmed in the latest data.

The 93 (101) new cases reported by Public Health England, take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 36,228 (36,135).

Infection rates in Warrington have risen slightly to 794 (774) – 379.2 (369.6) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period and remain slightly above the national average of 348.7 (350) per 100,000, which have fallen slightly again.
