A number of road closures will be in place on Sunday (Nov 14) across Warrington, for Remembrance Day parades.
Warrington Borough Council has issued an order on the occasion of the above-mentioned event, no cart, carriage, motor car, lorry or any other vehicle (excepting vehicles taking part in the event, Police, Ambulance, Fire Service vehicles and Mail Carts) and no horses or other animal will be allowed to remain in or travel along or over any of the undermentioned streets when being used by the remembrance day parades as indicated below.
The undermentioned streets will be closed between the hours specified when it is required to do so to allow for the safe passage of the parades.
There will be no road closures at Culcheth this year, following a last-minute decision not to re-submit a renewed application after the parish council agreed to fund the closures. Instead, a Remembrance Service will take place on the rear car park at Culcheth British Legion, with the parade set to return next year.

The restrictions will only be in place to allow for the safe passage of the parades with access under the control of the event organiser for the duration of the event.
Bicycles and Tricycles are included in the term “vehicle” and must not be ridden through any of the named streets during the hours specified. Any person wilfully acting in contravention of the above Order will be liable to a penalty not exceeding £400.
