FIREFIGHTERS were called out to help rescue a trapped ferret at Appleton, Warrington, earlier today.
One fire crew from Stockton Heath attended to release a ferret that was trapped between two concrete posts at an address on Acton Avenue shortly before 3pm.
The crew was detained at the scene for around 20 minutes.
