COUNCILLORS and PCSOs at Culcheth have joined forces to combat Anti-Social behaviour in the area.

The joint initiative by Culcheth Glazebury & Croft PCSOs and Borough Councillors is to get behind local residents and find out what issues they’re having when anti-social behaviour has taken place in Culcheth.
Cllr Wendy Maisey and Cllr Carol Benson joined the PCSOs on the doorsteps handing out resident surveys and finding out their priorities for policing in the area.
Cllr Val Allen commented: “Anti-social behaviour on Shaw Street car park has been an ongoing problem and we’ve been assisting a number of residents since becoming Borough Councillors in May of this year.
“We’re looking at a number of initiatives at Parish level too to alleviate the problems there. There is no quick solution but we’re delighted that there is now CCTV on the car park and whilst it’s there for a trial period we’re hoping it will become a permanent fixture.
