Large spike in new cases at Lymm as latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data revealed

LATEST small area data published by Public Health England reveals COVID-19 infection rates have again risen in many areas of the borough – with the largest spike at Lymm.

The latest data published yesterday, October 7, show infection rates in Warrington have risen to 836 new cases in a seven-day period, including 121 (41) in Lymm, compared to 687 the previous week and 576 the week before that.
Due to the high number of new cases in the area, mask-wearing has been re-introduced in communal areas at Lymm High School.
