A week after knocking Warrington Town out of the FA Cup, Marine are in town on Saturday when they visit Gorsey Lane to take on Warrington Rylands 1906 in a NPL West fixture.

Marine currently sit 6th in the table two places and two points behind Rylands in 4th place although they lost their last league game 2-0 at Clitheroe outing on 15th September.

Marine shot to worldwide fame earlier this year when Marine hosted Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup, despite playing “behind closed doors” the game raised over £300,000 for the Mariners from the selling of 30,697 virtual tickets.
The visit of Marine to Gorsey Lane for a league fixture goes a long way to illustrating how far Rylands have come in the last five because with Rylands playing in the Cheshire League as recently as 2017 to be hosting one of the most famous names in non-league football would have been unthinkable.
But here we are and you can get your tickets for this historic game in advance from Warrington Rylands v Marine (ticketpass.org) or pay on the gate.
Kick off 3pm, Strettie’s Bar open from 12 noon.
