Fire crews called out after food left on cooker starts fire

TWO fire crews were called out during the early hours of this morning following reports of smoke coming from a flat in Warrington.

Shortly after midnight, two crews from Birchwood and Penketh attended at the premises on Farrell Street, Warrington.



Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet. The smoke was caused by a pan of burnt food left on the cooker.
Crews used a large fan to disperse the smoke.
