Wheelie bin set on fire on football field in park

1

FIREFIGHTERS from Lymm were called out last night to tackle a fire involving a wheelie bin fire on a football field at a park in the village.

One crew attended to the rubbish fire on a football field in a park off Booths Hill Road.
The crew used a backpack extinguisher and a stack drag to put out the fire.
Residents are advised to store their wheelie bins safely, especially at night and to only put them out on collection day.
Also don’t overfill bins and leave rubbish lying around them.
