Warrington Charities Trust offers new funding opportunities

WARRINGTON Charities Trust has announced a new round of funding opportunities to help local good causes get back on their feet following issues caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The Trust has announced three funding application periods over the next twelve months. One right now that ends in September with money being distributed in October, in time for any Christmas initiatives and
projects over the winter and another next January/February for some “fresh start to 2022” applications and another that ends the following June for some feel-good summer projects.
The Trust welcomes any applications from groups that need some help to get back on their feet. They typically give out grants around the region of £1000 but in light of the way the last year has gone they will also consider
larger grants for worthy projects and local good causes.
Chairman Paul Taylor said: This is a fantastic opportunity for Warrington-based organisations to submit an application to kick start projects or events for charitable purposes.”
“At Warrington Charities Trust we have distributed well over quarter of a million pounds to worthy causes over the years and we pride ourselves on the fact that every single penny you donate to us goes directly to these organisations that really need this funding to help improve this wonderful town that we live in.”
“Our application process is fairly easy to get through compared to other charities that provide funding and we are happy to offer help filling forms out to those that need it.”
Visit the website www.WarringtonCharitiesTrust.org for eligibility for your organisation and if you have any questions about applying please do not hesitate to get in touch using the “contact us” form on the website.
