Return of the Hatton Show

0

THE return of the annual Hatton & District Show in fields opposite Daresbury Church takes place this Saturday, September 11.

The Hatton Show has actually been in existence since the 1890’s, but since the Second World War has always been held in Daresbury.

Only two events have been missed since the war, once in 2001 because of foot and mouth and last year because of COVID – although a virtual show was held last year!
Events kick off with the horse show in the morning (approx 9am start) and continue with the opening of the marquees for the traditional village show at 1.30pm.
There will be exhibits in a wide variety of subjects, including flowers, vegetables, domestic section, Junior, farm and handicraft.
There will be lots to see and do, including a gin and real ale bar, WI refreshments, artisan crafts, live music, a bodger and willow weaving, kindly funded by Made in Halton.
Visitors are welcome to visit the Hatton Show for a slice of traditional village life. Tickets are available on the gate (cash only) or via Eventbrite
