LOCAL boxers Rhiannon Dixon and Casey Brown are set to return to the ring this Sunday, September 12, with the backing of local business group real5 Networking.
Casey Brown is set to make his professional boxing debut along with unbeaten Warrington lightweight boxer Rhiannon Dixon.
Both boxers haven’t had a match since the end of 2019 due to the pandemic, so they are both eager to get back into the career they love so much.
Dixon is looking forward to her fight after spending the pandemic fighting on the front line as a qualified pharmacist. Brown is also keen to get his gloves on and show off his boxing skills after turning pro last year.
Boxing has flourished in recent time and women’s boxing is on the rise which makes it even more significant that Dixon is finally able to get back into the ring.
The pair have recently been on Radio Warrington to talk about the upcoming fight and have had overwhelming support from local businesses in Warrington.
