COVID-19 infection rates continue to fall with 46 new cases in Warrington

COVID-19 infection rates are continuing to fall in Warrington with 46 new cases confirmed in the latest data from Public Health England and remain below the national average.

The 46 (94) new COVID-19 cases take the total number of cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 26,792 (26,746).



Infection rates in Warrington for the last seven days have fallen again, to 646 (656) – 308.5 (313.3) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period which is below the national average of 353.3 (353.5) per 100,000, which has fallen marginally again.
Meanwhile, the UK has recorded 26,476 new coronavirus cases and 48 deaths in the latest 24-hour period. Another 78,871 people received a second coronavirus vaccine dose yesterday, taking the total number of those over 16 who are now fully inoculated to 42,718,652.
