FIREFIGHTERS helped rescue a woman trapped in a car that left the road and ended up on its side near the Lymm interchange earlier today, Wednesday.
Shortly before 1pm one fire engine attended from Birchwood following reports of a one vehicle collision in Swineyard Lane, High Legh.
The car had left the road and was on its side with one female casualty trapped.
The crew released the casualty from the car and handed her over to paramedics using a longboard.
