A Lymm road is set to be closed for up to five days next month (September) while British Telecom carries out works in the area.
Warrington Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Mag Lane from its junction with Crouchley Lane to its junction with the borough boundary with Cheshire East.
The Order will be effective from 20th September 2021 for 5 days between 8am and 5pm, when signed on site. Access will be under the control of the relevant Contractor for the duration of the works. The alternative route will be via Crouchley Lane, Beechtree Lane, West Lane, Cliff Lane and vice versa.
The closure is required to allow British Telecom to work on their underground apparatus.
