Birchwood High School students celebrate some outstanding GCSE results during challenging times

BIRCHWOOD Community High School is celebrating report some outstanding achievements by its Year 11 students in their GCSEs and other qualifications this summer.

Headteacher Ms. Emma Mills said: “The last two years have been full of challenges for our students, and we could not be prouder of how they have risen to meet each and everyone of them.
“Today is time to celebrate all they have achieved and overcome and to say thank you to all the staff who have supported them on this journey”.

Individual Achievements

Congratulations to Eliza Piskar who is celebrating today after receiving eight grade 9s, one grade 8, one grade 7. What a great set of results.
Jake Whitehouse is celebrating today with a fantastic set of results. He has achieved six grade 9s, two grade 8s, one grade 7 and a grade 5. Well done Jake.
Charlie Van Den Branden must be very pleased with himself after receiving a great set of results. He has achieved five grade 9s, three grade 8s and three grade 7s.
Huge congratulations to Megan Crawford for an incredible set of results. Megan achieved nine grade 9s and one grade 8. Well done Megan.
Well done to Miriam Marsh. With three grade 9s, four grade 8’s and three grade 7s, her hard work has certainly paid off!
Amelia Lee will be very proud of herself today as she celebrates achieving two grade 9s, four grade 8s, three grade 7s and one distinction star. Well done Amelia!
