AT a successful evening of fun and entertainment for WA5 residents at Gulliver’s World, the community raised a total of £1400 for St. Rocco’s Hospice, with Gulliver’s generously donating a further £600.00.

The event showed how partnerships between residents and local businesses can work together in harmony for the good of the community and support worthwhile causes.

Roger Jeffery, Secretary of Westbrook and Callands communities said, “‘We will continue to work tirelessly for residents in making our area a better place to live, whilst supporting worthy causes within the community.”
Nicola Henshaw Senior Relationships fundraiser at St. Rocco’s Hospice said, “We are delighted to accept this cheque from the WA5 community and Gulliver’s World. Without fundraising efforts like this we simply could not provide the care we do for Warrington residents.
“St. Rocco’s is grateful for the time and effort put into organising this event and appreciate the difficulties that need to be overcome doing so in the current climate. A big thank you to all involved.”
