WOOLSTON Rovers NCL side return to action this Saturday when they entertain Oldham St Annes in the National Conference League C having had an enforced week off due to COVID-19.

Kick-off is 2.30pm at the Limestone Construction Field, Monks Sports Club, Hillock Lane, Woolston.

Rovers Head of Coaching Mal Holt said, “We are really keen to get out on the field and banish the disappointment from our performance over Crosfields. We know that we are facing a St Annes side who are on a decent run of form but we are confident that we can get back to winning ways. We narrowly lost late on earlier in the season at their place so it would be good if we could claim the points on Saturday and start moving up the table.
Rovers ‘A’ will travel to Rochdale Mayfield ‘A’ on Saturday in the NWML Division Three having not played for five weeks. Kick-off is 2.30pm at Steve Gartland Way, Rochdale, OL11 3DF.
Rovers ‘A’ Coach Liam Lawton said, “We have had a few weeks break due to various reasons so the lads will be keen to get back on the field and continue our winning run. We were in great form having won four games in a row so hopefully, we can hit the ground running once again and keep our promotion push on track.”
