LONG delays are being reported on the M6 southbound this morning after two lanes were closed following a collision near Lymm Services.
Congestion stretched back to Junction 22 Southbound, with delays of at least 40 minutes being reported following the collision involving a lorry and a car.
Traffic was temporarily brought to a stop while vehicles were recovered from the scene with traffic tailing back over Thelwall Viaduct.
The motorway is now fully re-opened.
Motorists are being advised to allow more journey time with congestion reported in the Warrington area on Winwick Road.
