Latest COVID-19 hot spots and vaccination data as new cases fall in all but one area of Warrington

THE latest data from Public health England shows new cases of COVID-19 have fallen in all areas of Warrington but one, including some by more than 50 percent.

A total of 901 new cases were recorded across the town for the week ending July 24 – compared to 1,420 the previous week.

But after seven days of consecutive falls yesterday’s figures showed signs of an increase for the first time in a week, so health chiefs say there is no room for complacency and say it is still important to get vaccinated.
Public Health England data for small areas on 27th July gives data for the week ending 24th July and for the previous week (17 July) in parentheses.
