Bents Garden & Home launch new fantasy woodland trail

If you go down to the woods today at Bents Garden & Home …or anytime between 16th and 30th August you might not find teddy bears having a picnic, but rather a host of magical fairy homes and daring dinosaurs.

To help launch a new fantasy woodland trail at Bents Garden & Home’s Weeping Ash Garden and raise money for this year’s Charity of the Year, Solving Kids Cancer, Bents has created the magical trail, all of which have been coloured and created by little ones visiting the Centre.

Fairy and Dinosaur bags can still be collected in store for decorating at home and if returned to store by Friday 6th August they will be carefully varnished by the team at Bents before being placed around the enchanted woods.
Families can enjoy hunting for them throughout two weeks in August (16th – 30th ), with the proceeds of a £4.99 entry donated to Solving Kids Cancer, Bents Charity of the Year which focusses on childhood cancer neuroblastoma and which fights for a future where no child dies of the condition or suffers from its treatment.
Weeping Ash Garden is located next to the Centre and was originally created by John Bent over 30 years ago. It has recently been extended to add a further two acres including a central lawn, perennial beds and beautiful rockery and pond. The Woodland Walk is another new addition and is the perfect place to host this summer’s charity Woodland Trail.
Weeping Ash welcomes all ages and is somewhere for everyone to enjoy, with its hidden garden rooms, hidden paths and imaginative planting. The Woodland Trail will be open every day throughout August from 10am – 3pm.
(Dogs are not permitted in the Garden and the Woodland Trail is unsuitable for pushchairs.)
