WARRINGTON’s Gulliver’s World is hosting a supersized superhero-themed summer finale this September to mark the end of the school holiday with a special fireworks display.

The last weekend of the school holidays (September 4 and 5) will be a weekend of superhero-themed activities and entertainment and guests will be encouraged to dress up as their favourite superhero.

Mel Burrows-Carr, resort manager at Gulliver’s World, said: “We know that the school holidays have only just begun, and we want you all to enjoy a well-earned break and lots of family fun over the next six weeks.
“To help customers to squeeze every last moment of the holiday fun we’re having a superhero weekend and on Saturday 4 September we’ll be putting on a special Gulliver’s World fireworks display at 8.45pm.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing our customers in their superhero fancy dress and we know that mums and dads will join in too!”
The weekend will be filled with superhero fun and visitors can enjoy Superhero Skills, Superhero Olympics, special shows and entertainment and fancy-dress competitions.
Selected rides and attractions will be open until 8.30pm on Saturday September 4 and the theme park opening times on Sunday September 5 are 10:30am until 5pm.
Mel added: “This is a great way for families to finish the summer holidays with a fabulous day out at Gulliver’s World.”
