Three fire crews tackle washing machine fire at Lymm

THREE fire crews were called out during the early hours of this morning following reports of a washing machine fire at a property in Lymm.

Three fire engines attended shortly after 4am, one from Lymm and two from Greater Manchester, following reports of a fire at a premises on Higher Lane.



On arrival, the crew found that the fire involving towels in a washing machine.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
A large fan was used to ventilate the area.
The washing machine was then removed from the premises.
