Two 17-year-old youths arrested following serious assault in Stockton Heath

TWO 17-year-old youths have been arrested following a serious assault in Stockton Heath on Sunday night after the England football match.

The two males have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault and are currently in police custody.



Following a police appeal, a nurse who attended an injured man who received serious facial injuries has also come forward and officers are still appealing for information and witnesses to get in touch.
The incident took place between 11pm and 11.15pm on Sunday 11 July when a fight took place in the middle of London Road outside the restaurant Stockyard.
The altercation involved a number of males and resulted in a 22-year-old man sustaining serious injuries to his face.
The victim was taken to Warrington Hospital and he is currently in a stable condition.
