Police seek cyclist who failed to stop after colliding with seven-year-old schoolboy

POLICE are seeking witnesses after a cyclist failed to stop after colliding with a seven-year-old old schoolboy at Culcheth.

The incident took place on Warrington Road, Culcheth, near Newchurch Primary School on Friday, June 18 at 15:15.



An incident occurred where a 7-year-old male climbing the steps from the Primary School was hit by an adult male cyclist cycling along the footpath on Warrington Road towards the village.
The rider was unseated but got back on the bike and rode off without stopping.
