Suspected arson attack on shed

An appeal for witnesses has been launched following a suspected arson attack on a shed at Lingley Green, Warrington, yesterday evening.

One fire engine attended from Penketh following reports of a fire involving a shed in Chestnut Avenue shortly before 7pm.



On arrival the crew found one shed well alight.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters then cut away at affected areas.
It is believed that this fire had been started deliberately. Anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101 quoting IML 102873.
