AN overturned lorry resulted in the slip road joining the M62 at Burtonwood being closed this morning causing heavy traffic at J8 A5281 Burtonwood Road (Warrington West / Burtonwood).
Emergency services and Highways England traffic officers attended at the scene.
The road closure resulted in traffic congestion around the Warrington area during the morning rush hour.
Meanwhile, there was also a lane closure on the M62 Eastbound Junction 11 for Warrington East and Birchwood this morning due to a broken down vehicle.
