Two vehicle collision causes queuing traffic on M62 at Birchwood

A TWO vehicle collision on the M62 at Birchwood earlier today caused lengthy traffic queues.

Two lanes of the motorway were closed following the collision involving a car and a lorry causing queuing traffic on the eastbound carriageway between junction 10 for the M6 at Croft and junction 11 for Birchwood.

Emergency services attended at the scene.
All lanes have since re-opened.

Update: The #M62 eastbound #J10 (#CroftInterchange #M6) to #J11 (#WarringtonEast #Birchwood #A574) all vehicles have been recovered and all lanes are now open@OfficialTfGM @manctraffic
