Hospital admissions rise but none in ICU as 66 new COVID-19 cases confirmed

ANOTHER 66 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Warrington while hospital admissions have also risen again.

But while hospital admissions have increased from 5-7, none are in ICU.
The number of school pupils in Warrington self-isolating has risen significantly from 584 to 1,101, while the number of schools impacted has increased from 15 to 24 in the past 48 hours



Meanwhile, the 66 (50) new COVID-19 cases take the total number of confirmed cases in Warrington since the start of the pandemic to 18,693 (18,627).
Cases in Warrington for the last seven days have fallen marginally, with 335 (337) – 159.5 (160.5) per 100,000 population over a seven-day period– but is more still than twice the national rate of 77.4 (75) per 100,000, which continues to rise.
