WARRINGTON Town have revealed the first three confirmed members of Paul Carden’s squad for the 2021/22 season.

Striker Jordan Buckley, midfielder Luke Duffy and defender Eddie Clarke have all put pen to paper ahead of the start of pre-season training this weekend.

Duffy signed from North West Counties side Lower Breck last summer having impressed against the Yellows in a pre-season friendly, and scored two goals in 10 outings before coronavirus put an end to the season.

Former Tranmere left-back Clarke made his debut as a half-time substitute in the Yellows’ last league game, a defeat to FC United back on November 4.

Buckley joined from FC United partway through the 2019/20 season.

Both he and Clarke played for Welsh side Flint Town United earlier this year, alongside Yellows teammates Josh Amis, Mitch Duggan and Evan Gumbs.
