DARRON Bibby, from Culcheth, is putting in the miles to raise funds for The Christie Charity in Manchester – and is approaching the halfway stage towards his target of 1,000 miles during the year.
He is averaging 20-25 miles a week and also aims to do a run on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
His last run for the year will be on New Year’s Eve.
The charity provides enhanced services at the Christie Hospital, over and above what the NHS funds and helps make a massive difference to the care and treatment they provide to patients and their families.
He said: “So far I have raised £1390.00 through my truly wonderful and amazing 50 supporters who have kindly sponsored me.
