Man arrested for assaulting partner and drink driving at Latchford

A 37-year-old man has been arrested in the Latchford area of Warrington for a domestic assault on his partner and drink-driving.

He was arrested and taken into custody and will appear at court at a later date.



Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man was arrested on Burford Lane, Lymm last night for driving a vehicle over the limit of alcohol.
He was stopped by officers on Burford Lane, and blew 117 at the roadside, more than three times the limit – the legal limit is 35. he has been charged and bailed to appear at court.
Meanwhile, police at Latchford have received reports on anti-social behaviour on the disused railway bridge above Black Bear path. Please beware that accessing the bridge is dangerous and passing attention will be given by patrols.
Finally, late last night police seized a stolen vehicle on McKee Avenue after it was found to be running on cloned plates.
