THE popular Great Sankey Market returns on Saturday June 19th to showcase a very special Father’s Day Market, with plenty of traders tailoring their products towards the special day.
The Market will be packed full to the rafters with the very best of local food, drink, art and craft stalls. There will be plenty og food and drink on offer…. Expect local pie producers, street food, epic cakes, tasty treats, vegan deli stalls, award-winning scotch eggs, indian delicacies, local gin sellers, awesome ice cream, handcrafted jewellery, arts, craft plants and Summer hanging baskets and more.
This month there is also a doggie treats stall perfect for your 4 legged friends! There really will be something for everyone!
Whether it’s some awesome food, a cheeky tipple, award-winning food produce, art, craft, design or vintage that rocks your boat, they have it all!

As this event establishes itself permanently in everyone’s diaries organiser Lisa Cowley is thrilled to announce the lineup for June which will be the biggest event yet at over 60 stalls. Working alongside the Great Sankey Parish Council it will be showcasing so many local artisans and small independent producers.
Lisa added: “We are also delighted to welcome back HM Pasties in June. We first met Lee and the team a few years ago and were very interested and also really admired what he had created in offering ex-offenders employment opportunities and by getting them back on their feet. HM Pasties LTD are Bolton producers of the most incredible Pies and Pasties, with the social mission of reducing re-offending by employing people with criminal convictions. Supporting them creates sustainable employment for people with criminal convictions and brings out their talent. “H.M.Pasties offers a successful employment programme, providing returning citizens with the skills and confidence to find fulfilling work and build a life free of crime.”
