Burglar caught in the act thanks to CCTV

A burglar was caught in the act at Woolston by local police thanks to CCTV at the property.

Officers quickly responded to the incident and due to the homeowner having CCTV, the suspect was recorded inside the address.

As the officers were leaving the scene, they spotted the suspect round the corner from the address and he was arrested.
The officers recovered the victim’s property and the suspect was arrested and taken unto custody.

Please remember to check all windows/doors when leaving your vehicle unattended, even if just for a few moments. Remove valuables when left unoccupied, where possible
