TWO fire crews were called out to tackle a fence fire that was well alight at a property in Thelwall, Warrington, earlier today.
At around 11.15 am firefighters from Warrington and Birtchwood attended to a fence well alight at a property on Ashley Close.
A hose reel was used to put out the flames and a large fan was used to disperse smoke that had gone inside the property.
Everyone inside the home was accounted for.
A thermal imaging camera was used to check the area was safe.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a discarded cigarette.
